MICROSOFT’s TOP TABLE

The tech world has gone touchscreen bonkers. Hot on the heels of the pocket rocket iPod Touch, Microsoft have revealed its latest line in future furniture – the surface computer. It’s the ultimate combination of coffee table and coffee table book with a wow factor that’ll leave you open-mouthed with astonishment. Microsoft’s product boys demo its wares by painting pictures using their fingers, video conferencing by dragging and dropping contacts into the appropriate box, and – most impressively of all - placing a digital camera on the top of the table and watching it automatically suck out the photos onto the screen. This is proper home of the future stuff. If it were an Apple product, I guess I could get away with an “i”KEA joke. But it’s not. So I can’t. Check this out...
